Combined BA and MA Degree Design

Model A
This is the ideal option for students with little or no college transfer credit who have at least 5-7 years of professional experience and/or ministry related training
- The student will receive up to 60 credits of Advanced Standing (General Life Experience)
- The student will accomplish The Trinity Qualification Module* (18 sch value)
- Student will complete 6 Trinity undergraduate classes for a total of 18 credits
- Student immediately begins work on their Master of Arts program.
- Students receives "dual credit" for 24 of the 33-36 credits required for the MA. The dual credits are applied to the BA requirement reducing the overall amount of time
and finances needed for the completion of these two degrees. The BA degree will be awarded upon completion of the first 24 MA credits (all financial obligations would need to be current at this time)
Model B
This is the ideal option for a student with 42 or more college credits and has at least 5-7 years of professional experience and/or ministry related training
- The student will transfer in 42 or more transfer credits of undergraduate work.
- The student will receive up to 60 credits of Advanced Standing
- The student will accomplish The Trinity Qualification Module* (18 sch value)
- Student immediately begins work on their Master of Arts program. The student can achieve the MA by completing all 11 required courses or completing 6 courses (18 credits) from the major core and achieving 15 credits through completion of a Graduate Portfolio (Experiential-Equivalency Learning Credits) under this model, both degrees will awarded upon completion of all degree requirements (including financial obligations).
- Advanced Standing requires submission of a resume/vitae providing a summary of education, professional work, ministry experience,and any other training including location and dates. The Qualification Module requires the review/reading of 2 books –The Panorama of The Old Testament and The Panorama of The New Testament – plus the completion of an accompanying study guide.
- Obviously, other options or models may be applicable depending on number of college credits earned and the Enrollment Advisor has the flexibility to work with the student on a program to fit their specific situation. We strongly recommend contacting an Enrollment Advisor to determine which plan fits your needs the best.
