Combined M.Div and D.Min Degree Design

Model A
- Student will complete all 21 Trinity classes (30 General Elective credits and 33 credits in the
Major Core) for a specific Master of Divinity degree - total 63 credits.
- Student immediately begins work on the Doctor of Ministry. The student can eliminate 1
elective allowing achievement of the D.Min with 27 total credits (Common Core – 6 credits,
Major Core Studies – 15 credits, Capstone Project – 6).
Model B (Accelerated)
- The student may use transfer credit to replace up to 45 credits
- The student will complete 6 Trinity classes (18 credits) as part of the Master of Divinity Degree
program
- Student immediately begins work on the Doctor of Ministry. The student can eliminate 1
elective allowing achievement of the D.Min with 27 total credits (Common Core – 6 credits,
Major Core Studies – 15 credits, Capstone Project – 6).
Model C (Accelerated)
- The student may use a Combination of Transfer credit and Graduate Level Portfolio to replace
up to 45 credits. The Graduate Level Portfolio can make up no more than 15 credits meaning
the maximum transfer allowed under this model is 30 credits.
- The student will complete 6 Trinity classes (18 credits) as part of the Master of Divinity Degree
program.
- Student immediately begins work on the Doctor of Ministry. The student can eliminate 1
elective allowing achievement of the D.Min with 27 total credits (Common Core – 6 credits,
Major Core Studies – 15 credits, Capstone Project – 6).
