Department of Women’s Ministries

The Department of Women’s Ministries offers degrees with focused curriculums designed to prepare women for the
new opportunities for Christian service in Counseling Women and Pastoral Ministry. These two major areas of
study are rarely found in other Bible Colleges and Seminaries. When these subjects are offered, they are usually
standard B.A. and M.A. degree programs, with one or two courses for women using textbooks written by men.
In the Trinity Department of Women’s Ministry, every course is designed for women in ministry; with courses using
textbooks written by women who know what is required to be efficient, effective, and successful. The courses are
unique because those who are Counseling Women know that there are sensitive issues for which only a woman
counselor can bring healing. These issues are included in the curriculum. Likewise, the courses in Pastoral Ministry
have been selected to prepare the graduate with specialized skills required for a successful pastoral ministry.
The Trinity Department of Women’s Ministries Philosophy
We believe this Department should be exactly as the title states. A Department that offers studies at College and
Seminary levels for professional Christian women who are either currently involved in Christian Counseling; active in
Pastoral Ministry; or have been called by God to be prepared to enter these vital new and growing areas of ministry.
Trinity faculty acknowledges the complexity of busy professional schedules, family activities, and the myriad of other
responsibilities confronting women in the 21st Century. The B.A. and M.A. online courses use
textbooks and course enriching online lectures, which create a classroom environment. The courses can be completed in an accelerated, self-paced learning
format, in either your home or your office. Your studies can interface with your personal life and your professional life.
As you complete the courses, you will experience personal development and grow both spiritually and professionally.
