General Information

Trinity offers an unparalleled education to adult learners around the world who attend classes and interact with faculty and other students by mail, on the Web, and in person at our campus in Newburgh, Indiana.

Trinity is governed by a diversified Board of Regents comprised of members representing the academic and professional community.

Trinity enrolls students who are completing their degree programs through various innovative distance education learning formats and delivery systems. The school offers independent study courses, online courses, regional seminars, and webinar classes.

Trinity is committed to maintaining a community of faculty, staff, and students, which recognizes the inherent dignity and worth of each human individual as being in the image of God. We desire that all Christians should develop and nurture a racially, socially, and denominationally diverse community, even as the early church was diverse. Trinity also accepts the responsibility of being a positive example as we prepare men and women who will make beneficial social changes to society, the church, and the world.

Trinity admits students of either gender, all races, and any national or ethnic origin, to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded to students. In the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, grants, and programs, Trinity does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, color, national, or ethnic origin.

A Tutorial on Distance Education at Trinity
New students need direction and information to succeed in distance education program. That is why Trinity has developed the Trinity Tutorial, a non-credit course designed to help new students learn how the Trinity system works. New Trinity students will learn how to use the Online Learning Center, Trinity's unique and powerful online delivery system. In addition, they will learn invaluable online research skills, basic computer competency skills, and writing skills for those who may have not written collegiate-level papers for a while. Also included is information about who to contact at Trinity to get the help, information and support they need to become successful students and accomplish their higher education goals.

Bible Knowledge Assessment (BKA) - Credits by Examination
BKA’s are standardized, multiple choice assessments that assess knowledge of the Bible. The Bible Knowledge Assessments are published by the Association for Biblical Higher Education and are used to determine BKA credits which may reduce the time required to complete a bachelor’s degree program. Each BKA is worth six semester credit hours each. Students may satisfy up to 30 general elective credits via BKA. See bachelor’s degree listing information for more information.
