Ph.D. Degree – Focus in Pastoral Ministry

The specialization in the Ph.D. degree is the focused area of study designed to prepare a student for a specific career path or professional goal. Courses in the major define the subject areas of expertise being developed by the student. All courses in the focus areas are 3 semester credit hours each.

  • BS 718 Contemporary Biblical Hermeneutics
  • NT 713 Exegesis of Romans
  • CM 726 Critical Issues in Managing Conflict
  • PM 742 Mentoring in Today’s Culture
  • Choose either course:

    • EP 875 Critical Aspects of Old Testament Expository Preaching
    • EP 874 Critical Approaches to New Testament Expository Preaching
