Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary is authorized and approved to grant degrees in the State of Indiana under Article I, Sections 2, 3, and 4, of the Indiana State Constitution and is recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization as stated in the Internal Revenue Service letter of determination dated February 24, 1970.
For Trinity, and many other good schools that seek to serve the adult learner population, the true measure of the quality of an education, and the institution itself, is the extensive experience and credentials of its faculty, the integrity of its courses and programs, and ultimately the ministry and professional achievements of its students and graduates. Trinity has provided access to Christian higher education for over 50 years, has approximately 1,400 students currently enrolled in its online programs, and has been blessed to have graduated over 6800 students who serve to further the cause of Christ all over the world.
Each year, Trinity pursues comprehensive academic evaluations made by faculty from other accredited institutions. These external examiners who do not teach for Trinity assess student learning outcomes in light of the:
  • mission and objectives of the institution
  • academic rigor of course requirements by degree level
  • integrity of student work
  • institutional services
  • faculty development
This external assessment guides Trinity in its internal processes of developing and upgrading institutional policies and procedures, curriculum development, and also determines the targeted quality for its courses and programs consistent with a “student-first” philosophy for our adult student population.

We are not affiliated (accredited) with any regional or national accrediting agency and have operated, successfully, as a school of ministry for over 50 years with students graduating and serving in a variety of areas including teaching, preaching, missions, and counseling. Trinity clearly understands the purpose of accreditation. However, as noted by the US Department of Education, and all US DOE recognized accreditors, accreditation is a voluntary process.

There is a well known saying that states; “You get what you pay for.” The general understanding of that adage is this: if you pay less for an item or service than someone else is changing, you are getting a lessor item, or a substandard product. While that rule may generally apply, it certainly is not true of Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary. I completed a Masters of Divinity in 1991. After 36 years of pastoral ministry I decided to pursue a Master’s in Christian Counseling Ministry. Over the years pastoral counseling has always been a part of my ministry. At this point in my life a second phase begins. I am retired from full time parish ministry. Over the years pastoral counseling has always had a part in my ministry. Having moved away from primarily being involved in parish pastoral ministry I now have more time to devote Christian counseling. The coursework, the tuition, the timing, the teaching, and the interactive exchange with the other students makes for an exceptional learning experience. Each class that I took had a combination of senior pastors like myself, experienced Christian counselors, younger students who were just starting out and international students from around the world. Valuable insights were gained from these exchanges. The professors were Christ centered, knowledgeable and responsive to the needs of the students. Each professor was well able to present the information in a format that was understandable, enlightening and challenging. I am thankful for the Christ centered, educational ministry of Trinity.
