Admission Information

The process of enrolling in some institutions can be a challenging experience. At Trinity, we make it simple and straightforward.

Complete and submit the Application for Admission Form to apply for admission.

Official Transcripts

In order to verify program prerequisites and transfer credits (if applicable), official transcripts are required within 90 days of enrollment. Copies or student-issued transcripts may be used during the enrollment process for preliminary evaluation; however, they are not considered official. To be considered official, transcripts must be sent directly to Trinity by the previous educational institution. If the educational institution sends the official transcript to the applicant/student in a sealed envelope, the applicant/student may send the sealed envelope to Trinity. Trinity makes every effort to maximize the prior education of every applicant/student as it relates to Trinity’s requirements.

Undergraduate and Graduate Certificate Prerequisite Students

Students enrolled in Certificate programs are not considered to be working toward a degree; therefore, there are no formal admission requirements relating to prior education. Students wishing to transfer the Certificate courses to a degree program must meet the prerequisite for the applicable degree prior to the transfer of courses.

Application Fees

Trinity charges an application fee paid with the Application for Admission by those desiring to enroll in the college or seminary. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

International Applicants

At present Trinity students are residing in over 100 countries world wide. Why? Because the Trinity degree programs meet the ministry needs of local pastors, educators, Christian workers and missionaries around the world.

Degree-Seeking Students

Prerequisite requirements for degree-seeking students vary according to degree level. Undergraduate applicants are required to have a high school diploma or have completed the General Education Development (GED) test. Applicants for a master’s level program must have an earned bachelor’s degree from an appropriately credentialed school, or schools vetted by the Trinity Academic Department. Applicants to the doctoral programs must have a master’s degree from an appropriately credentialed school, or schools vetted by the Trinity Academic Department. Additionally, more specific prerequisites may apply to individual programs. View our interactive online catalog for more information and a complete catalog of degrees and requirements.

Transfer of Credits

Transfer of academic credit is determined by the receiving institution. Credits earned at other institutions may or may not be accepted by Trinity and credits earned at Trinity may or may not be accepted by another institution. Any student relying on credit earned at Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary for transfer to or enrollment in another institution should check with that institution prior to enrollment at Trinity.

Enrollment Policy

Trinity does not discriminate against any applicant on grounds of age, religious preference, gender, race, color, ethnic/national origin, or physical disability.

When to Apply

Trinity operates on a continuous enrollment system. This means any qualified applicant may enroll in courses and/or degree programs offered by Trinity at any time throughout the twelve-month calendar year. The only stipulation is that the applicant meets the established Academic and Financial Admission requirements. Since all programs and curricula are designed for guided independent study, students enjoy flexible scheduling to meet their individual needs
