Associate of Arts

Purpose:

The purpose of the Associate of Arts degree is to develop in learners the ability to read well, write well, and think well within a Christian worldview by providing a fundamental base of knowledge within a variety of subjects that will equip them for ministry, community service, and the rigors of Christian higher education.

Associate of Arts in Christian Worldview

General A.A. Information

Prerequisite: High School Diploma or its equivalent, or successful completion of 12 college-level semester credits with a ‘C’ or higher for each course.

Total Credits Required = 60. A minimum of 24 credits must be earned at Trinity. All courses are 3 credits unless noted otherwise. Courses may be taken in any order unless otherwise specified. A maximum of 36 credits may be satisfied via transfer credits from other educational institutions. Transfer credits must meet one of two criteria: (1) comparable to a course taught at Trinity, or (2) connectivity to Trinity’s program as demonstrated by fulfillment of one of Trinity’s Mission Objectives. Transfer (grades of ‘C’ or above) must satisfy the requirements of the program.

Achieved Learning

For prospects wishing to pursue undergraduate degrees, some learners may be eligible to receive credits upon completion.
